Medium of instruction

The medium of instruction is English; students are prepared for the following examinations.
  • Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination held at the end of std.X
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination,held at end of XII.

Both the examinations mentioned above are conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations,New Delhi.


Every child’s personal care is ensured.The school enhances the activity for formal skills of reading and writing. The all-round development of each child is catered to through formal and informal learning ,indoor and outdoor activities like singing and recitation, games and physical education.
Major events like the Open Day,Christmas,Sports Graduation Day and Prize Day activities give the child an opportunity to participate and display his/her talents.

At kindergarten every child is different and has unique personalities. They develop at different times and in different ways and learn at different rates. The kind of world we live tomorrow depends entirely upon the type and quality of the education we impart to our children today. They should be prepared to face this vast, complex and rapidly changing world and hence it calls for an integrated meaningful education system.
Kindergarten provides the opportunities for the children to develop intellectually,socially, emotionally and physically through its various activities.
Baby’s Day out forms an integral part in the school curriculum.

Junior school

The junior section of the school comprises students from standard I to IV. The junior school is provided with Computer Laboratory and Library.
The children are exposed to various activities like Dramatics, Quiz, Spell-Bee and many more in order to cultivate and foster the development of their innate talent. Education –cum-pleasure trips give the final touch for all the activities.

Healthy competitions like dance and singing is organised in order to bring out their potential. The children are exposed to various activities whenever child’s need is catered to.



Middle school

Our school Crest bears the motto ‘NIL DESPERANDUM, SEMPER FIDENTUM’ which means ‘Never despair, have faith’. True to the motto, our dedicated team of teaching and Non-teaching staff are striving hard to bring forth effectiveness in their vision. 

The Middle School section caters to the students who are in the age group of 10-13 years, which constitute std V, VI&VII. The well ventilated and spacious classrooms with all needed infrastructure are situated at SATUR BLOCK. Our motto is the gateway through which our school is pressing on with undaunted courage to meet the needs of our teenagers, who are a very lively and enthusiastic group with their dreams, desires and ambitions.

The impressive teacher – pupil relationship guarantees individual attention that in turn provides a personalized curriculum that nurtures, shapes and inspires all our students of the middle school to maximize their potential.

We offer a large and diverse range of educational opportunities and a kaleidoscope of activities such as Newspaper-In Education, Robotics, Karate, Music, Games and so on.

High school

The most vibrant age group of St. John’s high school is the High School which constitutes standard VIII to X. The overall development of these students is catered by various resources such as Libraries, well equipped Science, Computer, and Robotic Laboratories. Scripture, Music, Art, Sports and Games are an integral part of academics.

Language studies include Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil as we have students from different states of India.
